A Tuesday List with Morrie

Welcome to the Tuesday List. I am dedicating this week’s Tuesday List to my Nana, who says that Tuesdays with Morrie reminds her of my Grandpa Dan. (Yes, the book is on my ever expanding “to read” list.)

Anyway, this Friday is the very first Book Stacks Book Club, which I have decided to call Cover to Cover. Have you found a copy of the book yet? Also, my A Book By Any Other Name challenge has begun its second week. Can you come up with some titles? Check out Monday’s post for the rules.

Have you been reading anything interesting lately? Comment and let me know. And now, my current list:

The Children Of H̼rin by J. R. R. Tolkien РThe first book for Cover to Cover to be discussed on 25 May 2007, so be sure to get a hold of a copy before then.

Stephen Hawking’s A Brief History of Time: A Reader’s Companion edited by Stephen Hawking – I’m enjoying how this is both a biography and an informational science book. If you want to know more about the folks who figured out black holes, read this book.

Speaking of Silents: First Ladies of the Screen by William M. Drew – I need to finish this one soon, so that I can return it to the library.

Doctor Who: The Inside Story by Gary Russell – I’m slowly inching my way along.

Well, I have to go work on my Tolkien book. TTFN.
