Right before Christmas, I was in Fry’s Electronics and I encountered the Coast display pictured above. …And I could only stand there giggling until Koshvader found me, because…
Saturday Confession: I collect flashlights…and knives. It was like they’d created an entire display just for me! As you might imagine, Koshvader just rolled his eyes at me. …But he did give me a paring knife by Wüsthof for Christmas, so I expect he understands.
As far as flashlights go, well, I have one on my keychain, one that is a sonic screwdriver, a couple that belong in my purse, one of those Tripod ones, etc. I even have one that is a frog keychain, and when you open its mouth a little red light comes on.
What interesting thing are you prone to collecting?

Welcome to the first T-shirt Tuesday!
I may have mentioned in the past that I have a fair few t-shirts to my name. One might almost call them…a collection. What do most folk do with collections? Well, they display them, of course! I went through and photographed all of my t-shirts. Yes, it took a while. Especially with stuff like this going on:
Cats are such helpful creatures, aren’t they?
Anyway, my first t-shirt of the collection is this Jedi Academy T-shirt. I’m not sure exactly when I got it, but I do know that it came from the store at the end of Star Tours at Disneyland. It seems to me that Koshvader had one of a different color at some point.
Yes…I saw A New Hope in the cinema when it came out. Word is, I annoyed my Dad until he took me. I even used to have a lightsaber at one point. And this is just the beginning of the peek into the geekiness of my t-shirt collection.
May the force be with you.

Well, I promised you a picture a day…so here is one of my bookmarks. I have quite a collection it turns out. Do I ever use them? Uhhh…sometimes? (Actually, it turns out that I have a few different collections of things. You may learn more about my magnets and pins later.)
Anyway, for those of you who aren’t familiar with the character on this bookmark, his name is The Brain. He and his friend Pinky used to be on a show called “Animaniacs” and then they got their own show a bit later. The crux of each of their storylines went sort of like this: Brain tries to take over the world. Pretty simple, really. And each episode would start with a humorous interaction like this one:
“Pinky, are you pondering what I’m pondering?”
“Uh, I think so Brain, but this time, you wear the tutu.”
And that’s the history behind this bookmark.
