My Nerves Hate Me…But at Least I Have a New Phone
I certainly overdid it today. Too much shopping. Too many crowds. My nerves are calling me dirty names.
So, I’m hiding in my bedroom with my laptop and our guest cat. He doesn’t seem too bothered by this. I’m not really too surprised by this.
On the bright side we did get a bunch done today.
My Mother-in-Law arrived early, but doesn’t seem at all worried by the remaining mess. We introduced her to our mall, and I managed to get a few more of my presents taken care of. We next went hunting for an extra lamp. That doesn’t seem to be in the cards. At least she got some shopping done at Target. And then…

Well, and then we stopped by the phone store to get my Mother-in-law a cell phone. It may not have a signal at her house, but it would when she went to town. It’s only $10 month more on our bill. Well worth it for our peace of mind. Her car is old, and all that. Anyway, it was determined that my phone was a better one for her as it is a Tri-Mode and has an external antenna. (Mind you, I was told that they are in some way removing the Analog towers in March, but that external antenna will still be helpful. So there.) Obviously, I needed a new phone. So I got one, and said new phone is pink. I’m noticing a disturbing trend with my electronics of late.
Oh, and I blame Debbie. Just so you know. The queen of pink is still influencing me from a distance.
Anyway, my nerves may be shot, but at least I have a pretty phone. Oh, and a bluetooth headset. Tomorrow I will discover if I look like a Cyberman.
As you were.
