This weekend I encountered a song that had been made into Muzak that startled me even more than the time I heard Jethro Tull muzak at the airport. There we were, eating at Hobee’s, minding our own business, when what did we hear?

A muzak version of Amy Winehouse’s Rehab. Rehab! …but in a sort of jazzy muzak version.

It was just wrong, and could be one of the signs of the apocalypse. Especially if you add in the fact that I spent time cleaning my bedroom this weekend. That is a “Hell freezing over” kind of event right there.

So…call a loved one. Just in case.
