On the Internet I Live in the UK

Okay. I understand that I spend quite a bit of time in UK-based cyberspace. …But I’m not sure how that relates to this situation exactly.

It all started a while back when I opened my e-mail one day to find Yahoo asking me if I was aware that I had a US-based e-mail. Before I started driving on the other side of the road, perhaps I should switch to the UK site. I was so amused that I had to go with it. Then, only a couple of weeks ago, Facebook asked me if I spoke English (UK) and would I help translate the site, please. I shrugged and agreed. Only a week or so later, it asked me If I would like to change my listed language to English (UK).

And now…as you can see above, Youtube has done the same thing. Just this evening.

It has become obvious to me that I am slowly moving to Scotland in pieces via the internet. This calls for some tea.
