Quirky Monday

Everyone I know has one random quirk or other…or enough to open a shop.

What is your most random quirk?

My most random quirk? Well…I’m sure that there are others, but the one that comes to mind is the way I like to eat a banana. First of all, I only like one half of a banana. If I could get away with it, I would always eat the end with the stem, not the end with that thorny bit. I think it weirded me out as a kid. I’m not sure. Anyway, I have a half a banana on my cereal in the morning…and if it weren’t terribly wasteful I’d leave a pile of thorny ends for the others to eat.

Sometimes I’m lucky and the lone half gets eaten during the day, leaving me able to start anew in the morning. :)

My quirk used to be that I could only eat m&m’s two at a time.

These days… I suppose my weirdest quirk is either refusing to write/work in books that aren’t spiral bound or not wanting to walk on sewer covers. I will go out of my way to avoid the sewer covers.

Ha! I like this quirky banana fact about you.

Do you like peanut butter and banana sandwiches (using on the stem-half)? I had one recently and it was goooood.

I think I probably have a ton of quirks. Hmmm…Oh, here’s one. I tend to tear pieces of food you eat with your hands (sandwiches, pizza, etc) and eat it piece by piece.

Jaime, if I have the space, I tend to divide M&Ms by color (in rainbow order) and then eat the largest pile until there are the same amount as the next largest pile, and so on, until all piles have the same amount. Then, I eat one from each pile in order from left to right. I think that M&Ms are designed to make folks quirky.

Emma, mmmmm, I especially like Naner Toast! (Toasted Peanut Butter and banana numminess.) Bananas are good.

    Thanks for your quirks, ladies!
