The Good, The Bad, and The Musings

Today I was watching [tag]High School Musical[/tag] (’cause everyone I’ve spoken with loved it…Yes, Mom. It’s safe for you to watch.) and something occurred to me. You know you’re getting older when you are watching a film like that and you think that the guy who plays the Coach is cute. That’s right, I’m starting to think that the parents are attractive. As far as the kids go, I thought that the “Composer” of the musical was cute as a button. It was a fun film. I see why everyone likes it.

Anyway, here’s today’s Good and Bad:

Good: My two big errands today were accomplished successfully and with a lot less stress than I thought.

Bad: My Kitty-Girl is very old, and she’s starting to have trouble keeping her food down. I need to take her to the vet and have her checked out. I’m very worried about her. I wonder how many [tag]cat[/tag] years 16 human years translate to.

Maybe feed kitty half as much at a time, but 4 small meals instead of 2 larger ones. Poor kitty. I send her some love. I also liked that movie. I think its awesome that this generation of kids has a musical they like, like I had Grease and my mom had West Side Story.

Here’s a chart of cat years and human years. BTW I’ve tagged you. :-D I knew the moment I was tagged I wanted to tag you.

Sorry, can’t post my real name, part of my agreement to blog and whatnot. But if I say Cake Lady’s Daughter (or anything cake related) you’ll know who I am, right?

So, glad you liked High School Musical. But I shall be one of the few people to tell you I rather despise it. And you’ll never be old; you’re too young at heart.

Mallory, that’s what I started doing. I now feed her half a can (and these cans are wee) of the senior food in the morning and half in the evening. So far so good. *fingers crossed*

Thanks for the chart, Audrey. Oh, and I’m working on my response. I hope it’s not too shocking.

Greetings, oh Bearer of the Tasty Rice Krispy Treats! Thanks for stopping by my blog, where I talk *way* too much about my personal life. Question: do you have a musical that you prefer? I’m infamous for my love of fluffy musicals, so perhaps my enjoying HSM isn’t too shocking. And thank you. *bows* My great aunt (b. 1918) always says – “Age is a matter of the mind. If you don’t mind, it doesn’t matter.”

High School Musical? Yea…I watched the second one…
Let me guess everyone loves the first one more…and I will be teased for liking Grease 2 more than the original?!? Sigh.

You are funny. I laughed out loud at the coach comment. I must be a few years younger than you…as I didn’t really evaluate the cute-ness of the kid or his father, coach. Though neither hurt the eyes. :p

    Sister,

You know perfectly well that you are only 2.5 years younger than me. Mind you that is also the difference between knowing the GoGos were reforming as opposed to a new band. (If you actually remember that conversation…)

Once I’ve seen the second one I’ll let you know if I liked it better, okay Pink Lady?
